Celebrity Cruises has partnered together with Rodale, a health and wellness authority for a series of activities with regards to healthy eating. They will use the knowledge of the company to help them put together an interactive experience. The first activity will be based on the New York Times series called ‘Eat this, not that!’ and there will be other things too.
The game will be played interactively as a trivia game. It will test guests on their healthy eating knowledge and help them understand how to make healthy choices when they are eating out. They also have ‘Cook this, not that!’ which is a demonstration of how to cook nutritious and flavoursome food which is not packed with calories. Then ‘Drink this, not that!’ shows how to serve great drinks that are tasty but not packed full of calories. They are also coming up with ideas for enrichment talks and other activities.
The Director of Product Development, Dominique Bonavita explained that guests have told them how wellness activities are very much appreciated and so they felt that pairing up with Rodale which be perfect for this. Guests had said that when they are busy and when they are eating out, it is particularly difficult to make healthy food choices and so they want to get some help with that and so Celebrity decided to help them out with this. They will be producing more wellness related activities and experiences in the future as well.
