David Hasselhoff recently had a short holiday at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve, South Africa, which tends to be known as the Arizona of South Africa. The American actor is most famous for his TV roles in Baywatch, the X Factor and Knight Rider and is well known in many countries across the world. ‘The Hoff’ took a few days holiday in the area, after working nearby. Hasselhoff had been in Cape Town for the Loerie Awards.
These are advertising awards and it is the biggest award ceremony in South Africa for advertising and afterwards he took a break to have a few days stay at the wildlife reserve. He is now in the UK on touring and filming television shows in between the tour dates. The Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is just three hours from Cape Town and so not a very long journey for Hasselhoff, his girlfriend, Hayley Roberts and his manager, who joined him on his trip. A local source said that they had a great time and enjoyed the star gazing and the amazing wildlife.
They went on a guided walk where they approached a cheetah and also saw white lion and elephants. There are even pictures of his trip on his Facebook page which include some lovely cubs and elegant giraffes. There are photos of him in a jeep ready for exploring the area as well as pictures of the lovely landscapes along some of the roads he travelled. You do not have to be a Facebook friend with him to view them, so they are well worth a look.
