There will also be new carpets and ramps added in some areas. There will be silk plants and an aerobics room put in the fitness centre, which will be used for yoga, spinning and other classes. When finished the ship will be used for Western Caribbean journeys and then on a transatlantic cruise before sailing on Mediterranean cruises.  Norwegian Jade with have new carpets, new tiles and improved interiors, the hull will be painted and it will have a new restaurant, Moderno Churrascaria, which will replace the current Tapas and Salsa restaurant on Deck 8 called Paniolo’s.

It will also have technical advancements to the propeller and the propulsion system seals and thrust bearings will be improved as well. It will arrive in the dry dock on 26th November and be there for almost two weeks. Afterwards it will sail around Europe on nine day cruises leaving from Barcelona and finishing in Malaga.
