Bear and Elk Workshop at Four Seasons Jackson Hole

By Andrew Gibson

The Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole has a unique offering for its guess this autumn. It is only at this time of year that the area sees Bear and Elk in the area. To take full advantage of their visit, the resort is offering guests the opportunity to see more of them on a specially designed tour.  They will be running a Bear and Elk Workshop which will be run by one of the two biologists that work at the resort.

They will wander with guests, off the main paths in search of these magnificent animals. The animals will be preparing for the winter and guests will be able to view them doing this and undoubtedly spot other animals in the area as well. Animals such as moose, bison, eagles, pronghorn sheep and wolves will also be expected to be seen on the trip, while guests search for the bears and elks. The trip is available between the 2nd and 6th October 2011.

The workshop involves two full days of animal spotting as well as a half day tour of Grand Teton National Park, which will be a private tour. Also included in the package are two treatments per person at the spa at the resort which will last 50 minutes each. The spa has a Swiss shower, deep soaking tub and a fireplace and there are 16 treatment rooms including two suites. There is a good selection of treatments to choose from.
