Crystal Cruises has launched its new itinerary for 2012 where it will be sailing all around the globe. The luxury cruise line will be including a dozen new itineraries, twenty new ports of call, more shorter cruises and an increase in overnight stays. Most of the cruises will start with an overnight stay in port before the journeys begin and most have at least one, two-day calls. The Crystal Serenity and the Crystal Symphony will visit 182 ports and call in 59 counties on 60 worldwide itineraries.
Gregg Michel, the president explained that the company wanted to make travelling with the company better value and easier. By adding over nights travellers only have to unpack once, but they can explore using the ship as a base. The overnight destinations are a big mix including busy cities such as Hong Kong and New York but also smaller places like Edinburgh, Sorrento and Tahiti. The cruises range from seven to nineteen days and there is also a three month world tour too.
All the cruises will be all inclusive meaning that there will be open bars, complimentary fine wines and premium spirits and pre-paid gratuities for staff and all food included as well. There will also be some promotional offers available such as two for one and bonus savings as well as savings for early payment. Fares start at $2755 per person for double occupancy. The itineraries are all included in the company’s 2012 cruise guide and also in their seasonal winter and Europe brochure.
