With a pleasant pub that serves quality food, this lovely little town is a popular destination amongst walkers, due to it being the start of the Offa's Dyke Walk Five, a 5.5 mile scenic walk along the nearby Clwydian Hill Range. Also close by is the 700 year-old town of Ruthin which boasts half-timbered buildings clustered around St Peter's Square as well as numerous interesting shops and boutiques. There is also the Ruthin Craft Centre which houses work by internationally recognised artists and craftspeople. The River Dee offers exhilarating white water rafting whilst the scenic Lake Brenig, Moel Famau, Loggerheads Country Park and Clocaenog Forest are all close by for picturesque walks and fascinating bike rides.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
