Ffestiniog is located between the Moelwyn and Manod mountains in Snowdonia and has a very interesting history. It is a fantastic location for exploring North Wales, but as it is so spectacular itself, you will want to spend some time exploring the local area as well. As you would expect, from an area which has such lovely landscapes, most of the emphasis is on the outdoors.
