The shops and restaurants are about a 5 minute drive/taxi from the property. The 192 and International drive areas are very popular for shopping and dining out including Festival bay and The Mercado for those days you crave shopping. There are also numerous fast food/dining facilities such as Dennys, Arbys, Golden Corral and Ponderosa to mention but a few.
Attractions
Disney World is only a 10 minute drive away. Seaworld and the universal Parks are about 30 minutes drive away. The highway 192 has a good selection of shops and attractions/restaurants along its route and the famous international Drive area boasts a selection of shopping malls and attractions such as the Titanic, Wet n Wild, Ripleys Believe It or Not and Wonderworks.
