The surrounding area offers many hiking options and cyclists can mountain bike to their heart's content. The nature park of Sierras de Tejeda Almijara y Alhama is only 10 km away. Within 30 minutes in the car you are in Málaga, the birthplace of Picasso, which is certainly worth a visit.
