The beautiful sandy beaches of Costa del Sol are located just 200 meters from the resort. You can easily reach them on foot. The beaches are well-maintained and many are equipped with hammocks. Marbella is situated 12 miles from the park. Marbella is one of the most popular tourist cities on Costa del Sol and it's port ("Puerto Banús") is well worth a visit. You can marvel at the large, luxurious ships and enjoy the view from the promenade. The city of Malaga is only 40 kilometers away and Gibraltar, the British Peninsula known for it's rock ape's, is also highly recommended. For golfers there are 10 golf courses within the vicinity of Marbella. Water lovers are sure to enjoy Costa del Sol as there are opportunities for diving, jet skiing and (wind) surfing here. Other ideas for a fun afternoon include the zoos in Fuengirola and Estepona, water parks in Mijas and Torremolinos, and a sea life center in Benalmadena.
