You are here in an incredibly beautiful area. The rivers built in thousand years in the mountains waterfalls (including Sokolia Dolina), and these make the Slovak Paradise so special. In this area are many rock formations, caves and grottoes (including the Dobšinská ice grotto, the Stratenská Grotto, The Bear Cave and the Devil's Grotto). Near the national park are a number of cities with historic sights, such as Spišská Nova Ves (4 km), Markušovce (9 km), Spišský Štvrtok, and the tourist centers like Čingov (7 km), Kláštorisko, Podlesok and Dedinky (31 miles). From the house you can follow trails far into the environment Levoče (11 km), the High Tatras, the Low Tatras, Pieniny, the castle Spiš and Plejsy. Culture lovers can make excursions to the impressive castle ruins Spišské, the town surrounded by woods - Levoče (11 km) with its patrician houses from the 15th Century, or the museum in the red monastery Cerveny Kláštor. Even a visit to the mining town Rožňava (54 km) and residences of the Hungarian Count Andrassy are worthwhile in any case. Nature lovers can visit the ice caves Dobsina (38 km). The culmination of a recreation is without car, but trips in the minibus, with a possible guide. The owner can resolv this for you.
