Loch Lomond is a very popular place with visitors and it is obvious why when you go there and witness the spectacular scenery. Loch Lomond is very close to the city of Glasgow and although it will definitely offer the peace and tranquillity that you get from your cottage rental accommodation near the loch, there is still plenty worth exploring.
Some of the main attractions are the Burrell Collection, the art galleries, the National Piping Museum, the Cathedral and of course the shopping. There are three shopping centres in the town centre as well as a selection of independent shops in the west end of town. There is an underground system so you can easily get from one shopping area to another.
