The spacious, semi-detached house Jacaranda (on the ground floor) is available entirely separately for 2, or it can be rented together with the houses Girassol and Papoula. All houses are located in the finely restored Portuguese Quinta, which has a swimming pool (7 x 4 x 1.6 m), a large garden, various terraces and a barbeque area, at the foot of the Monchique mountains, only 10 km from the sea.

The Quinta has been designed and finished with a great deal of care, and it is managed by its very friendly owners, who live in the fourth house and welcome you with a full refrigerator on the first day. High wooden ceilings and thick stone walls ensure a pleasant coolness throughout the summer, and comfortable warmth in the winter. All the houses are child-friendly, and, among other things, there is a work and recreation area where children can paint original tiles with the owners, and you can make use of a childrens bed and carriage.

This is the perfect holiday address for relaxing just 15 minutes from the sea, beach, golf courses, vineyards and all your normal daily facilities such as shops, banks, pharmacies, etc. Towns such as Alvor (7 km), Portimão on the Arade River (10 km) and Praia da Rocha are nearby. You can go hiking directly from the house or take a car ride along the orchards and vineyards.

Monte Canelas is located in the historic Mexilhoeria Grande, a town 5 km away from the house, where there are a number of shops and a nice market.
