Whenever you would like to enjoy fresh air, water sports, street cafes and delicious food, you are welcome to visit Western Brabant. This holiday park is situated in Oosterhout. Numerous tourist attractions, places of interest and nature areas can be easily and quickly reached from here. Oosterhout has a historical town center and received its town incorporation rights from Emperor Napoleon. In the old town center you will find the “Slotjes” (former small castles), ancient narrow streets and historic old buildings. There is plenty for kids to do around Oosterhout as well. For example, there is De Efteling Family Park (27km), De Beekse Bergen Beach and Safari Park (35km) and the kids’ fairytale park of Land van Ooit – “The Land of Once Upon A Time” (30km). You can go also hiking, cycling and horseback riding in the extensive wilderness area situated on the outskirts of the town (such as De Vrachelse Heide [“Vrachel Heath”] and De Boswachterij Dorst [“Dorst Forest”]). De Biesbosch National Park lies at a distance of 10 km and can be reached by boat. There is also De Loonse National Park and Drunense Duinen close by. This is where you'll find Europe’s longest sand drift. Here the wind is responsible for an ever-changing landscape. Whole dunes move and trees sometimes completely disappear under the sand.
