Forest park ‘t Wolfsven is situated amidst beautiful nature, with water on all sides. It lies close to one of the largest nature reserves in this country – the Straabrecht Heath where you can enjoy marvelous walks and bicycle rides. Cars and mopeds are not allowed here, so the environment is wonderfully quiet. For children there is plenty to explore in the direct neighborhood. For example, in Leende you will find No-no’s Land – an indoor playground for kids from 1 to 12 years old. Here children can have fun with a circus of their own. While the children amuse themselves on the playground, the parents can relax at a café. DippieDoe Family Park also offers a good opportunity to enjoy a day out. This child-friendly and safe park is sure to be a hit with everyone, in good weather or bad. There is a children fair, bumper cars, haunted house, children cinema and much more. In Best you will find the Midden Best Zoo, situated in the typical green poplar landscape of Brabant. It is a nice and attractive zoo that will appeal to both young and old. Here you will come face to face with animals from all parts of the world. In Geldrop you can visit Geldrop Castle. As soon as you enter the castle, you will be traveling centuries back in time. The history of the castle began in the 14th century when Phillip van Geldrop was master and lord here. Take a lovely walk around the castle and enjoy its magnificent park in English garden style. There is also an exposition hall and a children farm. Every Sunday afternoon between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m admission to the castle is free.
