The apartment serves as an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling routes to the most beautiful spots in the Mouse, but other recreational facilities are also nearby such as: museums, an amusement park, a beach or other villages and towns. Even the village of Lith has much to offer, thanks to the large number of recreational facilities, the many tourist attractions and the beautiful natural surroundings, but mainly, owing to the hospitality of the people. Suggestions for excursions in and around Lith include: Bergkorenmolen (grain mill) Zeldenrust. The Bergkorenmolen dates from the year 1825. In 1902 a fire ravaged the mill. From the mill, you have beautiful views of the river landscape. Fort Sint Andries is the name given to a major natural development project of about 4500 hectares, located between the 'Land van Maas en Waal' and the Bommelerwaard. In the coming years the natural area of Fort Sint Andriesv will be expanded. The expansion will include recreational routes, as well as other facilities for recreation and tourism. Other attractions include: a modern hydroelectric plant, many monuments (including the over 300-year- old Dokterhaus known from the Roman village on the river by Anton Coolen), a Neo-Gothic church in Teeffelen and the very beautifully restored ruins of the castle of Oijen.
