A recreational team offers daily activities and entertainment during the high season. The park's little train collects the children in the park and brings them to the recreational area. After the activities the engineer brings all the children back again. In the restaurant a number of events are held, like bingo and card games, musical entertainment and karaoke.

The holiday park is surrounded by hundreds of acres of national forests and lies close to the picturesque village of Schoonloo. In the immediate vicinity there are two unique recreational lakes with excellent clean water and beautiful beaches. The wonderful surroundings offer plenty of opportunity for cycling and hiking. Especially for our guests we have compiled a booklet with several cycling itineraries in the vicinity of the park. The central location of the park makes it ideal for a number of excursions. In Assen you'll find the Provincial Museum and Youth Traffic Park. Memorial Centre Westerbork in Westerbork and the National Dolmen (Hunebed) Information Centre in Borger are certainly worth a visit. If you are looking for entertainment for your children, Kabouterland (Gnomeland) in Exloo or the Noorder Zoo in Emmen are a must. Of course don't miss the city of Groningen with its beautiful historic town center. The inner city is car-sparse and therefore an excellent place for a nice day of shopping.
