The apartment is part of a typical Venetian house, a 14th century "palazzo" the building is listed as part of the city's heritage. On one side the accommodation overlooks the street, on the other side a lush internal courtyard with its well so typical of Venetian courtyards.
The accommodation is over two floors (the staircase has no banisters, which should be taken into account by families with young children), and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

There are numerous shops in Calle Larga S. Formosa street (close to the apartment): a grocery, dairy, wine shop, etc. Proximity stores that are becoming rare nowadays, and which are part of Venice's charm.
There is also a supermarket a minute's walk away behind Campo San Lorenzo square.
The situation with regard to traffic and parking differs from one town to the other. Please check before your holiday.
