Amandola is in Le Marche region of Italy in the Fermo province. It is a lovely little town and renting self catering holiday accommodation here will provide you with a quiet and relaxing location. It is also extremely beautiful with views of both mountains and the lovely coastline from your traditional cottages and luxury villas.
There is a good selection of cheap accommodation in the area and so whether you want a small romantic cottage, an apartment rental a small cottage or something much bigger for all of the family like a farmhouse, you will be able to find something to suit you. It is great to explore the area on bike or foot as you do not interrupt the peace and quiet and you get to see nature in close detail.
The town itself also offers some amusement with the Piazza del Risorgimento as well as the Baroque Porta San Giacoma clock. On the outskirts of the town is the Sibillini national Park where you can hike, mountain bike, rock climb or bird watch. If you go at the right time of the year you can take part in winter sports.
There is also a coastal resort close by called Senigallia where you can get sea and sand and maybe rent a coastal villa. The weather in the area is great with hot summers and cold winters which reach below freezing in the mountains making ideal skiing conditions.
