The small town of Kiltimagh is a true Irish gem located in the eastern part of County Mayo. The town is a great base for the outdoor type with walks to suit all abilities, pony trekking facilities, a range of golf courses and fishing in the surrounding rivers. Further afield is the world famous pilgrimage site of Knock Shrine while the town of Claremorris has a range of shops and leisure facilities to suit the whole family.
The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.
