Self catering holiday accommodation, caravans and chalets in Sneem
Sneem is a town on the Ring of Kerry which is a walking trail in the County Kerry area of Ireland. It is a place which offers ample opportunity for relaxation with beautiful views as well as traditional Irish life. Renting holiday cottage accommodation here will be comfortable and fun and a great place to return to after being out somewhere interesting during the day.
There is plenty to do out of doors in this area including walking and biking, horse riding and swimming as well as fishing and golf. However, many people choose to take it much easier and spend time taking photographs of the breathtaking views or drawings and painting them. Having a rental cottage in the heart of these lovely views can be a fantastic source of inspiration.
Nearby there are interesting places to visit, should you wish to get away from Sneem. The town of Cahersiveen is forty-five minutes drive away and has a lovely memorial church dedicated to Daniel O'Connell, the Irish emancipator who was born in the town. There are also Ballycarbery castle, Cahergall Stone forts and Cahersiveen Heritage Centre to visit. Sneem is is a place which has warm summers getting to almost twenty degrees and winters getting down to just below ten degrees. The only big difference in the weather between these seasons is the rain, which tends to fall more in the winter time.
