There are many attractions around the town including Ladies’ View, a spot named after Queen Victoria’s ladies-in-waiting and where there are spectacular views across the town and to the MacGillicuddy Reeks, the largest range of mountains in Ireland. There are many outdoor pursuits available in the area, from fishing to walking and of course the National Park is just waiting to be explored.
