There is plenty to discover in the vicinity. A car is recommended. You can visit the town of Sidari with its fascinating Canal D’Amour (Channel of Love), shops, restaurants and entertainment. You can also enjoy water sports, including fishing. You can take a boat trip to the coastal islands of Erikousa and Matraki. There are many other good beaches such as Paleokastritsa, Kassiopi and Barbati. You can visit traditional mountain villages, the Hydropolis Water Theme Park and Corfu City which is about a 40 minute drive away.
