Sameons and neighboring Verchaix offer a fantastic location if you want to be as close as possible to the ski slopes. There are self catering chalets and apartments which are very close to the ski lifts and so you do not have to waste time travelling to get there. The area of Haute Savoie has many pistes and slopes and so there is likely to be something to suit everyone, whatever their ability.
The accommodation tends to be self-catering and is located in Verchaix and the town of Samoens nearby has shops and restaurants. It is a peaceful place and so it is almost impossible not to relax while you are there. With self-catering accommodation ranging from apartment to farmhouse, there will be something to suit even the largest family.
The rental places even stay open in the summer months as there is so much to do out of the skiing season. There are other sports as well as leisure activities and with the views of the French Alps being so spectacular, you could not wish to be in a prettier place.
