If you want a slightly less touristy holiday then villas and apartments in Golfe Juan are ideal for a family holiday as it is a great place to stay. Renting a cheap holiday apartment or luxury villa with pool here means that you are far enough away from the crowded Cannes, Mougins, Antibes or Juan Les Pins but still close enough to visit for a day.

Cannes is famous for the film festival and boasts numerous restaurants as well as galleries, theatres and exhibitions. Antibes is famous for its nightlife and so is packed with bars, pubs and clubs but also has beautiful beaches and mountainous skylines. Mougins is small but picturesque and is the finest example of a medieval village in the area.

So there is certainly a lot to do, but you can return back to your self catering holiday rental home accommodation and relax. The town is not completely secluded as there are a good selection of restaurants and shops along the promenade as well as a shopping area but there are a number of private beaches if you do want real peace and quiet.

There is also a selection of water sports available in the summer months. There is also an old town, called Vallauris, to discover which has a selection of shops selling the ceramics that the town is famous for. There is also a great market where local crafts can be purchased cheaply.
