In the centre is the St Siffrein cathedral, around which are all of the best cafes, restaurants and shops in the town.
There are famous monuments too including the Arc de Triomphe where the Friday market is held. There is a whole array of local produce served there including the most famous of the region, strawberries. The town dates back to 46Bc and so the history is extremely interesting. If you are lucky enough to visit during the week of the 27th November you will be able to experience the St Siffrein Fair where all of their best foods are available such as truffles, melons, bonbons and strawberries.

These are great if you want spectacular views of Mt Ventoux which towers over the town or if you want to go on wine tasting walks. The local tourist office will be able to provide instructions and maps. You can take mountain bike or horse if you prefer not to walk. If you are feeling athletic you can even have a go at climbing the mountain.
