Situated on the North West part of the island of Corsica, Lille Rousse is a beautiful French town. There is a good range of holiday rental accommodation here and plenty to do when staying on vacation in luxury villas and self catering apartments in Lille Rousse. The small town is traditional with a lovely shaded town square in the middle of it which is full of pretty trees. If you are lucky you may be able to book a holiday apartment in the town centre itself.

Outside of the town there are coastal villa rentals with lovely beaches, many of which have coves to explore, rigged cliffs and beautiful seas which are ideal for swimming, scuba diving, sailing, windsurfing and snorkelling. There are protected mountains and forests nearby where you can take guided walks which will fully allow you to explore everything that they have to offer. These are ideal if you are on a walking holiday and want to stay in gites and holiday cottages in Lille Rousse.

Further afield you may like to travel the thirty minutes to nearby Calvi where there is a citadel, marina and lovely restaurants where you can sample the local food and wine. The area is famous for its wild boar, fish soup and cheese. There are also the towns of Corte and Sartene which have lovely charm and are worth a visit. The weather stays very warm between June and September being in the high 20's and even in the winter it does not get below 10 degrees and so it can be an ideal holiday rental accommodation location at any time of the year.
