Enjoying their own private patios and glorious countryside views across the marshes, they adjoin the owners’ home in an excellent location for walkers and nature lovers as well as for exploring the lovely Suffolk/Norfolk coast and borders area. A great array of attractions lie within 5 miles – Lowestoft is a family friendly seaside resort boasting gorgeous, award winning beaches as well as two piers for traditional seaside amusements, and the thrilling rides of the Pleasurewood Hills theme park. Fritton Lake Country World, Somerleyton Hall and Pakefield are also popular and nearby Oulton Broad offers the contrasting pleasures of tranquil boat trips to explore the beautiful Norfolk Broads and its famous Thursday evening speedboat racing. Only 13 miles away, the elegant resort of Southwold is renowned for its colourful beach huts, traditional pier, lighthouse and Adnams beer. From the harbourside, there is an easy walk over the footbridge to the pretty village of Walberswick (of crabbing competition fame). Energetic walkers can continue on to Dunwich, fortifying themselves with fish and chips on the beach before heading on to RSPB Minsmere.
