If you are looking for a holiday destination that is family friendly, well located and has a fantastic beach, then Gorran Haven is the place for you. There is a good selection of luxury holiday cottages in Gorran Haven, especially considering the size of the place. There are only about four shops in the village including a post office and grocery store. If you want more amenities then you will need to travel to St Austell. This isn't a bad thing though as it takes you close to the Eden Project which is well worth a look.
Because the place is so small, all of the self catering holiday homes in Gorran Haven are within walking distance to the beach. This is great because it is far more relaxing to leave your car outside your holiday accommodation in Gorran Haven unless you are venturing outside the town. The beach itself can be quite small at high tide but the sea goes a long way out to reveal a lovely stretch of sand with cliffs all around and lovely little coves.

For families there are also some cheap cottage rentals in Gorran Haven especially out of season, but with the weather here being drier and warmer than the surrounding parts of Cornwall you are likely to get sunshine whenever you visit.
