With sandy beaches and fantastic rolling surf, it isn’t difficult to see why the little town of Perranporth is so popular amongst water sports enthusiasts. Whether the tide is in or out, visitors can find something to enjoy on the beach - be it walks along the miles of sand, or surfing in the impressive waves. The scenic coastal path provides excellent walking opportunities and passes through fields, over cliff tops, and down to hidden coves. The fishing village of St Agnes is nearby and is worth visiting, as are the renowned country houses and gardens, cider farms and steam railways the region is known for. There is even a cliff side golf course with fantastic views over the sea. This is an ideal base for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing holiday walking or lazing on the beach.

Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Or could it be the cliff-top theatre at Mynack, working harbours, the world famous Eden project or St Michaels Mount, cut off from the mainland by a causeway. Or even the endless activities on offer; the Camel Cycling and Walking Trail, stunning coastal paths or the National Surf Centre at Newquay’s Fistral beach. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
