A very well-furnished cottage in the middle of the wine region where 'it happens' in the Czech Republic: Lednice. -- The house stands alone, near the owner's home, both on property enclosed by a fence. In the owner's wine cellar you can sample excellent south Moravian wines such as Muller Thurgau or Frankovká. -- The house is surrounded on two sides by a garden, and has a terrace and a barbecue. Here the children can have great fun. -- You can reach the center of the village in 5 minutes, on foot. A lovely little restaurant is just 100 m away. -- The house is perfect for a family with children. -- Parking for 2 cars is within the fenced yard.

The Lednice-Valtice wine region is a fascinating environment. Wine-growing is concentrated in this region, as evidenced by the numerous wine cellars. There are 37 sites with buildings such as castles and palaces containing rooms in romantic and classical styles. There are many Gothic houses and a railway station which was built in the mid-19th century. The beauty and grandeur of Lednice and its surroundings is evident in the architecture. Not surprising that Lednice always was and is an interesting and attractive tourist destination in the Czech Republic. At one of the lakes in the vicinity, there is a real minaret Roman waterfall, an artificial cave and the water castle, all originating from the beginning of the 1800's. The owner can act as your guide in this interesting area. -- The surroundings are gorgeous with the Pálava tip, swamp forests, meadows, panoramic view of the Dyje River or Lake Nové Mlýny, not to mention the clean, fresh air! -- The environment invites you to take a walk or a bicycle ride. There is a wide selection of marked trails in the area and the bicycle paths are connected to those in Austria. -- You can ride in Lednice. -- The surrounding villages of Lednice, Mikulov, Valtice and Břeclav are well worth a visit. -- You can go swimming in Nové Mlýny Lake (where you can also go boating, canoing, windsurfing, sailing and fishing), the Apollo Sea in Lednice, or in the Dyje River, which flows past the village. In Mikulov, Břeclav and Hustopeče there are modern swimming pools. -- Or how about a day trip to Vienna, Austria, only 89 km away from the house (one and a half hours by car)?
