The house has an information sheet with the telephone number of a German speaking guide who can accompany you to Prague. At the accommodation you will find plenty of opportunities for mountain biking and hiking. In the immediate surroundings there is much to see and to experience - the world-famous rock Adršpach parks, Teplice, old churches, the baroque church and monastery in Broumov, the large lake of Česká Skalice (for surfing, fishing, swimming, etc.), and the animal and safari park in Dvur Kralove nad Labem. In Trutnov and Náchod there are great pools, old cities, and lifts in the ski area which operates also during summer. The Czech Republic's highest mountain, Snezka, is 'around the corner'. There are many markets with Vietnamese traders, offering inexpensive clothing, toys and footwear. These markets can also be found just across the Polish border in Náchod.
