Compare Holiday Homes in Arona
Arona is a village in Tenerife and it is situated on the coast in a rocky valley and has many holiday rentals with spectacular views. Being so close to the beach is a great attraction for visitors but it is also near to the countryside and so visiting here can produce quite a contrast in things to do. You then have the option of staying in coastal villas or more traditional apartment rentals.
It is a great place to do a lot of walking as not only is there the coastline to discover but also many footpaths to follow. They can be used on foot but also on bike or horse back and so you can cover a bigger distance with less effort should you want to. Then at the end of the day return to your self catering accommodation for some well earned rest.
The area also has some natural attractions the deep ravine Barraco del Rey and Roque de El Conde and many people like to go and visit these and experience a more rural style of life. The beaches are also enjoyed by many, as they are nearby and there are 15km of them. They are a great place to relax or you can swim in the sea. There are often water sports on offer especially on some of the main resorts such as Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas which makes the area so popular with families who stay in holiday accommodation.
Fishing is popular and sailing, as well as banana boating and scuba diving so there is plenty to choose from. However, there are also more secluded spots, should you rather be away from the crowds and relax in peace. Arona itself being a little way away from these big resorts creates a lovely contrast on returning to your holiday rental home.
Things here are much quieter providing a great opportunity for you to relax but with casinos, bars, restaurants, shops, beaches and countryside all within easy reach you will always be able to find something to do. You will be happy visiting at any time of the year as temperatures do not vary that much with the winter only getting down to 21 degrees and in the summer temperatures reaching a maximum of 31 degrees.
