Selva is situated in the North of Majorca and is a small town popular with families who like to stay in luxury villas and apartments. It is also home to some great value traditional cottages and farmhouses with private pools. It is set in the beautiful countryside and most of the holiday properties are in tranquil locations set away from other houses. The Sierra de Tramutana Mountains are nearby which means that there is plenty of great views as well as lovely places to explore.

Self catering holiday rental accommodation in Selva is great for anyone who wants to be away from the busy tourist places and there are other small towns and villages nearby that you can visit. It is a great way to relax and unwind. This area is quite different to the resorts along the coast as there are no English bars or rowdy night clubs, you will find only Spanish bars and small restaurants.

It is great for self-catering visitors with regards to peace and quiet but a visit to neighbouring Inca may be needed to collect the necessary food and other supplies and it also has some restaurants. There are not many attractions, which you would expect for such a quiet place and so you may feel the need to hire a car on your arrival at Palma airport, so that you can visit neighbouring towns and villages. Nearby you will then be able to visit the Tramuntana Mountains where you can hike, bike or horse ride.
