Compare Apartment and Villa Holidays in Buger
Buger is a small village located at the base of the Tramuntana Mountains and therefore is an extremely picturesque place to stay. The self catering apartments are suited for families with young children and there are also luxury holiday villas with private pools and air conditioning. It is the smallest place in Majorca and therefore has only a few holiday properties which means that you will certainly not see a lot of other visitors during your stay. This will give you ample opportunity to take in all of the culture and tradition that the place has to offer.
It is a typical Majorcan village with narrow streets shaded by buildings such as the church. There are shops with a bank, baker, bar, general store and pharmacy and then on a Saturday there is a local produce market. There is also a place that serves up lunches and evening meals. It is only basic but it does mean that you can shop among the locals and really get a feel for the culture of the place.
There are other villages nearby such as Campanet which has limestone caves to visit and Caimari which is a beautiful village along the way to the monastery at Lluc. Campanet has more shops with three bakeries as well as several bars and so if you want more choice then this could be a place well worth visiting. However, despite being bigger, it is still a place which has not allowed tourism to change it at all. Binibona is another local village which offers gourmet food and then Inca which has leather goods on offer and has a train station which has connections to Palma.
