There is a balcony on the first floor which enjoys superb views of the Dolomites. The extra bed in the larger bedroom is suitable for a child. The apartment is an ideal base for excursions to the Grossglockner, Austria's highest mountain. You can also visit the 'three mountain tops' which is one of the best viewing points in the Alps. The Carinthian Lakes, the beautiful glaciers and the traditional farming villages of the Hohe Tauern National park are all well worth a visit. Lienz is close to Italy and Italian influences are noticeable. You can enjoy numerous gelaterias and designer boutiques which are also frequented by Italians.
