This farmhouse was built in the 18th century and was restored and modernized in 2005 maintaining the original charakter of the building.

The typical regional farm building, consisting of three adjoining buildings enclosing a small courtyard with wonderful views, is located in a exquisite singular setting near the forest at the Kulm mountain. The farmhouse is easily accessible by car and invites you to stay in a traditional, comfortable, homelike, generous, recreative and natural enviroment.
Your children and pets will find plenty animation alternatives (playground) and ample space to feel good.

The long standing enviromentally compatible and sound building made of stone, clay bricks and lime effects a healthy and cool climate in summer. In winter enjoy a cosy and warm atmosphere produced by geothermical energy distributed into the floors and walls of the building and by a tile stove in the living room. The farmhouse consists of two perfect self-catered flats with separate entrances and complete facilities (crib, washing machine, electric cooker, dishwasher, bedding and towels).

This unit (135 m2 or 1453 sqft) comprises two triples, one twin with ensuite bathroom, breakfast kitchen, living room, a separate bathroom and a thatched terrace perfect for family reunions. The flat is also suitable for small group events, e.g. seminars for art, health, self-finding or meditation etc. Catering is available on request.

Even if you do not only look for the perfect retreat you will find a couple of activities in the vicinity: Horse riding, carriage rides, hiking, searching mushrooms in the woods, tennis, lake, zoo& natural reserve in Stubenberg, facilities for hydropatic (Kneipp) treatment & massage,
rustic wine taverns (Buschenschank) and pubs in the charming highlands nearby. The hot springs Waltersdorf, Loipersdorf, Blumau etc. are easily accessible in half an hour drive; the skiing slopes and the provincial capital of Graz in less than one hour.
