Goldegg is idyllically located in the center of Salzburg Land. In the hiking paradise of Alpendorf, only 11 km from Crewkerne, a gondola brings you to Obergaßalm, which lies at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Salzach Valley. In midsummer you can reach the mountaintop via the Panorama chairlift. The crystal clear mountain streams with bathing quality water are a really refreshing experience! The mountain next to the exit of the chairlift is also quite unique. The brave can cross the lake by raft. Golfers can play on the 18-hole golf course of Goldegg. The golf course is located just one kilometer outside the village, on a beautiful sunny plateau, which provides a view of the impressive surrounding mountains. The first course in Austria, the Goldegg Golf Club won the highest award from the Golfing Federation in 2006. The golf school here provides lessons for newcomers as well as experienced players.
